Warranty and Return Policies
The following are terms and procedures to be followed if the use of a warranty and repair service for products marketed by the Térraba Sunglasses brand, owned by Térraba Latinoamericana S.A, is necessary.
Any item a user acquires either through this website, authorized distributors and / or social networks affiliated with the brand of Térraba Sunglasses, has thirty calendar days of warantee. In addition, the final buyer may extend his warantee to a total of one hundred and twenty calendar days if he/she registers on this website as the end user of our products.
Térraba Latinoamericana S.A guarantees its products against breakage caused by possible defects in material and workmanship detected in the period mentioned, from the purchase of the corresponding product. The scratches of the sunglasses are considered a common wear linked to the use, so it is not included in the warranty.
- Delamination of the coating of solar lenses.
- Bubbles or imperfections in lens coating.
- Premature wear or deterioration of lining of frame.
- Welding defects of hinges and / or temple barrels.
No warranty applies in following examples:
- Normal wear (scratches or pit marks on sunglasses)
- Any damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, download, improper use or storage of the product
- Damage caused by chemical products (hair spray, cologne, window cleaner, alcohol, among others.)
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Loss of glasses
WARRANTY AND REPAIR
In all cases of warranty requirement, a user will be asked to provide proof of purchase (original invoice) to assess the terms of the warranty. Depending on the type of damage, the mount or the corresponding defective part will be changed or repaired.
If your purchase has been made through an authorized distributor, you must first contact him, who will proceed to assess the problem and propose an appropriate solution.
If your purchase was made through this website or social networks of the Térraba brand, you must send to the mail email@example.com, with description, photographs showing the defect, also, send a contact number and the original invoice of your purchase, an executive person will be happy to advise you and take care of your case to find a suitable solution.
In any case in which you have done warranty requirement through the mentioned email, the lenses will be replaced or repaired, as determined by Térraba Latinoamericana S.A as dictated by these warranty policies and returned to the sender’s address. Our warranty department will ensure that the shipping costs are reimbursed if necessary In case a damage is not due to a factory or material defect, you will receive a notice by email, which will inform you resolution so you decide if Térraba Latinoamericana SA returns your glasses or if you want them to be replaced assuming its entire cost.

- The Térraba executive person will provide you the number file of your case, which will be written on the outside of the package to be sent.
- The shipment of package must be done through Correos de Costa Rica (a Costa Rican Post) and must indicate to the executive person once the package has been sent the tracking number thereof. The shipping cost must be incurred by the customer.
- Once the items have been returned in perfect condition, we will refund the price with the original payment method. The refund will arrive within 15 business days after receipt. Once the items have been returned in perfect condition.
